All She Wants To Do Is Dance! Shrewsbury Dancer Remembers Where Her Dreams Began: Chickee's Dance World

A Long Overdue Thank You

Dear Chickee,

Today my daughter, Caitlin, starts law school at the University of Pittsburgh and this wonderful occasion
gave me cause to reflect and think about the things in her life that helped get her here. You are clearly one
of the strongest influences in her life and the basis for many of her achievements and I have been meaning
to tell you this, to thank you for this, for sometime now, but never followed thru effectively.
For that I am sorry. Nevertheless, thank you now for all you did.

I am tempted to bore you with all of what Caitlin has done since the family left Massachusetts, as I am
most proud of her and her sisters and brothers, but I will assure you she danced and choreographed thru
high school and college, and after college she danced and taught dance.

In all her work, whether it was Caitlin performing or dances she created for others, the influence of
Chickee was VERY evident throughout. So rest assured the influence and style of Chickee has spread to
Collegeville, PA; State College, PA; Idaho Falls, Idaho and now to Pittsburgh and will continue to grow
to wherever Caitlin goes as she will dance forever, I believe!
